Inspired by all the usual suspects... love, heartbreak and loss...
East Coast native Jayme Fitzgerald presents her long awaited debut album ‘Water’, a catchy and non-indulgent wee gem for the romantic in us all.
Together with her many amazing musician friends such as Graham Sullivan- Bass, Alex Wiltshire- Keys, Ray Ward- Drums and Graham Draper- Electric Guitar, ‘Water’ is a heartfelt album with hook-laden tracks of country/pop/folk/beachy persuasion.
The album was made in Taupo at Lakeside Recording Studio under the guidance of Graham Sullivan it was then mastered up in York Street.
“If there is one thing for certain about music, and I guess life in general, it’s that you never quite know where things are going to end up. I hope people like the album enough to buy it, and then I guess if enough people do, I can consider going on tour and write and carry on creating! When people say to me ‘wow your song really touched me’ that’s when it makes it all worth it – I know the power that music has over me and its pretty special if I can somehow share that feeling with other people.”
